The reason behind the collection

Why Inari Shrine Cafe Was Created

Inari Shrine Café is a Charlotte-based manga-themed pop-up centered on anime, storytelling, and community.

Its public mission is to build a welcoming cultural hub where more people feel seen and connected. The collection gives special attention to diverse and underrepresented creators, especially Black voices.

Inari is building the kind of cultural space where curiosity is welcome, stories are shared, and community can grow around a love of manga.
