Who We Are

Inari Shrine Café is a pop-up manga café experience that hosts community events and may sell related products, including NFC-enabled items and merchandise. We do not currently operate a permanent physical café location unless stated otherwise.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this website. Some events or products may require you to be 18+ or 21+ where applicable. You are responsible for ensuring you meet any age requirements before purchasing tickets or attending events.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Website Use and Community Rules

You agree not to:

• Use the website for unlawful purposes.

Purchases, Pricing, and Payment

If you purchase items or tickets through this website:

• Prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise.
• We may change pricing, product availability, or event offerings at any time.
• You agree to provide accurate billing and contact details.
• Orders may be canceled or refused at our discretion—for example, because of suspected fraud, inventory issues, or listing errors.

NFC Tags and NFC Products

Some products sold by Inari Shrine Café include NFC-enabled tags or keychains. By purchasing or using NFC products, you understand and agree that:

• NFC tags function by opening a link or data when tapped by a compatible device.
• Phone compatibility and settings vary by device. We cannot guarantee performance on every phone model, case, or operating-system version.
• If an NFC product is custom-programmed by you or requested to be programmed by us, you are responsible for the content and links stored on it.
• You agree not to program or use NFC products for illegal content, malware, scams, harassment, or impersonation.
• We are not responsible for third-party sites you link to, their content, or their availability.
• Unless clearly stated, NFC products are not medical, safety, or emergency devices.

Important: NFC tags can be affected by metal surfaces, thick phone cases, and certain device settings.

Event Terms

Attendance & Conduct

We aim to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment. By attending, you agree to respectful behavior toward staff, vendors, and guests. We may remove attendees without refund for disruptive, unsafe, harassing, or inappropriate conduct.

Photos & Video

Events may be photographed or recorded. By attending, you grant Inari Shrine Café permission to use photos or video that may include your likeness for promotional purposes—including social media, the website, and flyers—unless prohibited by law. If you have a concern, contact us at the event or via email.

Accessibility

We try to choose accessible venues. Accessibility varies by location. Please contact us ahead of time for accommodations.

Vendor and Guest Experiences

Vendors and third-party partners may participate in events. Their products and services are their responsibility. Inari Shrine Café is not responsible for third-party vendor transactions unless explicitly stated.

Tickets, Refunds, and Cancellations

Refunds and transfers depend on the specific event policy listed at checkout or on the event page. Unless otherwise stated:

• All sales are final for digital products and custom items.
• Ticket refunds may be offered only if an event is canceled by us and not rescheduled.
• If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your ticket may be honored for the new date.

Weather, Emergencies, and Force Majeure

We may cancel, postpone, or modify events due to circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, venue issues, government restrictions, emergencies, or safety concerns. If this happens, we will provide the next steps—reschedule information, credit, or refund policy—on the event page or through the contact email you provided.

Shipping and Returns, If Applicable

If we ship products:

• Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary.
• You are responsible for providing the correct address.
• For damaged or incorrect items, contact us within 7/14 days of delivery with photos and your order number.
• Custom items, including custom NFC programming, may be non-refundable unless defective.

User Content, If You Submit Anything

If you submit reviews, photos, comments, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use it for website and marketing purposes. You confirm you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not violate others’ rights.

Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party websites, including ticket platforms, payment processors, social media, and vendor sites. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Use them at your own risk.

Disclaimer

The website, products, and events are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that NFC products will work with every device or situation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inari Shrine Café is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the website, attendance at events, or purchase or use of products, including NFC products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific purchase giving rise to the claim.

Some states do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Inari Shrine Café from claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of products—including NFC tags—unlawful conduct, or infringement of any rights.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, unless otherwise required by law.
